Wolf illegally shot near Yellow Pine, Idaho

A wolf was illegally shot 13 miles east of Yellow Pine, Idaho between March 16 and 19. Yellow Pine is a small community deep in the Salmon River Mountains is west central Idaho.

We encourage citizens with information about this case to contact us as soon as possible," said US Fish and Wildlife Service special agent Paul Weyland. “Substantial rewards are offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for this illegal act." Anyone with information should call 208-378-5333.

Last winter an Idaho wolf was shot near Glenn's Ferry, Idaho.
